Myanmar has been victim of avaricious Western influences for decades. Over 600,000 dead and over one million displaced as solders of the Military Junta rape, pillage, and burn the villages of the citizenry, and force those who are capable of work into slavery building and maintaining natural gas pipelines which feed Unocal Corp. of the United States, France's Total SA, Malaysia's Petronas, Thailand's PTT Exploration & Production PCL, Daewoo of South Korea and companies from Russia, India and Australia. These companies currently prop up the Fascist Leadership and Generals of the region formally known as Burma.

The quickest and most effective way to stop the drain on mineral and other vital natural resources, as well as achieve a drastic reduction in greenhouse-gas emissions, is to DEPOPULATE the earth.
Any and all of the Bush Administration's actions, from Iraq to Katrina, make sense if the idea is to first inure Americans to mass death (of others), and then start depopulating as often and as thoroughly as possible, starting with the populations who are least able to resist.
Occupation, depleted uranium, cholera, pollution, starvation, forced marches into exile, civil strife, rampant criminality, natural disasters, nuclear attack--anything will do as long as it results in more dead humans, and the Bush Administration and its friends the only ones left standing. (They do stand behind all the weapons, you know.)
Moral considerations, not.
A valid argument, which raises the question of why they oppose birth control and abortion. (Not really, it's a rhetorical quandary.)
Of course, the answer is that they pander to the easily manipulated authoritarians of organized religion in order to get elected.
I do take exception with one of your points, however. These Chicken Hawks don't stand behind weapons, they have Blackwater and your sons and daughters do it for them. With the sole exception being Dick Cheney while lawyer hunting.
